Dear State Park Supporter,

As you may know, these are extraordinary times for our state parks. Record drought and heat, devastating wildfires, and a drop in visitation have led to a critical situation for state parks.

We need to raise $4.6 million to help keep state parks open, and we can't do it without you.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Executive Director Carter Smith explains three ways you can help in this short video.

Here are three simple ways you can help:

Make a tax-deductible online donation.
Make a donation when it's time for you to renew your vehicle registration.
Most importantly, because visitor fees pay for about half of all park operating costs, visit a state park often with your family and friends.

Our state parks won't be the same without you.
