 The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) will provide free round‑trip rides to voters casting their ballots in the upcoming primary election.
Voters can travel at no cost on local bus, METRORail, curb2curb, and METROLift services. To ride, passengers simply need to show their voter ID or other approved documentation to the operator or fare inspector.
Free rides will be available during the following dates and times:
Early Voting Tuesday, Feb. 17 – Friday, Feb. 27
- Monday – Saturday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon – 7 p.m.
Election Day Tuesday, March 3
METRO encourages voters to plan their trip to the polls using the RideMETRO app or by visiting RideMETRO.org.
