 On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, METRO will operate on the following schedule:
- Local bus, METRORail, Park & Ride, curb2curb and Community Connector will operate on normal weekday schedules.
- METRO-operated HOV/HOT lanes will be open.
- METRO Customer Service will be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

RideStores and Lost & Found will be closed.
METROLift
Reservations and Customer Service will be closed. Subscription trips will not be affected.
Riders needing to schedule trips for Monday, Jan. 19 or Tuesday, Jan. 20 can:
- Book multi-day trips between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. using the METRO On Demand website or mobile app.
- Call our automated reservation line, which accepts voice command and keypad entries at 713-739-4690 between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m., one day prior to travel.
- Call a live agent at 713-225-6716 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16.
