 In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, METRO will operate the following schedule:
Thursday, Nov. 27 (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday, Nov. 28, 2025
- Local bus, METRORail, and curb2curb will operate on Sunday schedules.
- Park & Ride routes will not operate, except for the 500 IAH Downtown Direct, which will operate on a Sunday schedule.
- METRO RideStores and Lost & Found will be closed.
Customer Service

Friday, Nov. 28: The call center will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
METROLift

- METROLift Reservations and Customer Service offices will be closed.
- All subscription trips will be cancelled.
To schedule trips for Thursday, Nov. 27, through Monday, Dec. 1, you can:
- Book multi-day trips using our online trip planner (customer ID and password required).
- Call the automated reservation line, which accepts voice commands and keypad entries at 713-739-4690 between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m., one day prior to travel.
- Call a live agent at 713-225-7616 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
HOV/HOT Lanes

- METRO-operated HOV/HOT Lanes will operate with modified hours:

Inbound: 5–10 a.m.

Outbound: 11 a.m.–8 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28: All HOV/HOT Lanes will be closed.
