 The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) will provide free round‑trip rides to voters casting their ballots in the 2025 elections.
Riders can travel at no cost on local bus, METRORail, curb2curb, and METROLift services. To ride, passengers simply need to show their voter ID or other approved documentation to the operator or fare inspector.
Free rides will be available during the following dates and times:
Early Voting
Monday, Oct. 20 – Friday, Oct. 31
- Monday through Saturday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Election Day
Tuesday, Nov. 4
