METRO is making it easier than ever to plan and complete curb2curb trips with new, rider-friendly updates to the curb2curb app.
When demand is high and curb2curb vehicles are unavailable, riders can now book an Uber or Lyft directly through the app and still pay the low $1.25 fare using a credit or debit card. This feature helps ensure more consistent service, even during peak times.
The app also now features a built-in trip planner, allowing riders to connect curb2curb with bus and rail service. Whether traveling across town or within the zone, riders can plan their entire trip in one place.
These latest enhancements reflect METRO’s continued focus on improving access, flexibility, and convenience for all riders through the METRONow plan.
METRO curb2curb is an on-demand, shared-ride service available in specific communities where access to fixed-route buses is limited. Operating within defined zones, curb2curb allows customers to schedule a pickup from their location and travel to destinations within the same zone or to a nearby METRO facility for convenient transfers to the wider METRO network.
The service currently operates in Hiram Clarke, Kashmere / Maxey Road, Missouri City, Acres Homes, and Sunnyside.
Riders can book trips using the curb2curb app or by calling 713-739-RIDE (7433). For more information or to get started, visit METRO's website.
