 METRO will adjust service on the METRORail Red and Purple lines beginning at the start of service on Saturday, June 7 through the end of service on Sunday, June 8, to allow for critical maintenance and system upgrades.
Red Line
- Bus shuttle service will operate every 10 minutes between Burnett Transit Center / Casa de Amigos Station and Northline Transit Center / HCC Station.

Purple Line
Customer Support
- Riders can text or call METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, for assistance or trip planning information.
- METRO staff will also be on-site to direct passengers.
- Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow for extra travel time.
HOV/HOT Lane Closure
Due to an ongoing TxDOT construction project, the I-69 / Hwy. 59 South (Southwest Freeway) HOV/HOT Lane will be closed on Saturday, June 7, 2025.
The lane will reopen on Sunday, June 8 during regular operating hours. All other HOV/HOT lanes will remain open throughout the weekend
