 METRO will offer modified service on the METRORail Red Line from the start of service on Saturday, Feb. 8 through the end of service on Sunday, Feb. 9 to perform essential maintenance and system improvements.
During this time, crews will complete track, signals and electrical enhancements, deep cleanings of station platforms and canopies, and other maintenance work. The improvements are critical to maintain the integrity of the METRORail system and part of the agency's ongoing commitment to providing a smoother, safer, and more reliable ride for customers.
Bus shuttles will be available every 10 minutes between Fannin South Transit Center and Burnett Transit Center. Click here to view shuttle map. Please allow extra travel time for your trip.
METRO personnel will be available to provide assistance. Customers can also text or call METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday if they have any questions or need trip planning information.
