Registered voters can hop on board METRO for a free round-trip ride to the voting booth on Election Day, Nov. 7.
METRO, in partnership with the League of Women Voters, is offering free rides to Houston-area polling locations for the 2023 elections. Voters can ride at no charge on METRORail, local bus, METRORapid, curb2curb and METROLift paratransit services.
Voters only need to inform bus operators and/or fare inspectors they are going to, or returning from, the polls.
Patrons needing customized directions can map out their trip with the RideMETRO mobile app or on RideMETRO.org. For information on polling locations visit the Harris Votes website.

The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County (METRO) is the region’s largest public transit provider, offering safe, clean, reliable, accessible and friendly transportation services.
