Effectively immediately, METRORail will offer modified service on the Red, Green and Purple lines so that repairs can be made to a damaged electrical box in downtown.
Shuttle buses are currently serving the following sections of METRORail:
- The Red Line from the Downtown Transit Center to the Northline Transit Center.
- The Green and Purple Line from EaDo/Stadium Station to Theater District Station.
This modified service will continue until further notice.
Customers can text or call METRO's Customer Service Center at 713-635-4000 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. if they have questions or need trip planning information.
METRO offers real-time information and updates through its Service Alerts web page. Riders are also encouraged to plan their trips in advance by using the RideMETRO app.
