Tens of thousands of Astros fans took METRORail to get to the World Series Championship Parade on Monday, Nov. 7. The Authority provided 105,000 rides on METRORail alone, the third highest single day rail ridership behind the 2017 World Series Parade in which 125,000 rides were provided and Super Bowl LI with 114,000 rides.
The METRO Police Department as well as bus and rail supervisors, Safety teams, Street Teams and others ensured fans arrived safely. The METRO team also provided directions, offered a fun keepsake and even snapped a few hundred photos of parade-goers.
