METRO's Regular Service Resumes Wednesday
METRO customers can plan to take their regular routes Wednesday morning. Local bus routes, METRORail, METRORapid, Community Connector, Circulator, and Park & Ride services, will operate their normal schedules.
The METRORail Red and Green lines will have normal operations. For the METRORail Purple Line, METRO will provide free shuttle buses from the EADO/Stadium platform to the Palm Center Transit Center for the morning commute. Signs will direct riders to the shuttles and customers should allow for extra travel time.
Riders should expect some detours and delays in the southeast region, where work crews are clearing streets and restoring power.
Also, commuters can use all METRO-managed HOV/HOT lanes, I-45 North & South, US 59 North & South, and US 290 West.
METROLift customers can book trips as usual online through MACS-WEB or by calling 713-225-6716.
METRO RideStores and Customer Service, 713-635-4000, will follow regular business hours tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Riders are encouraged to monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely information regarding transit. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.
To plan a trip or purchase fare from a smartphone, customers can download the RideMETRO App and access the METRO TRIP App.
