  METRO is resuming regular weekday service this morning for local bus, METRORail, and Park & Ride. HOV/HOT lanes will also resume normal hours of operations. Due to isolated areas of high water caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Beta, customers should expect some detours and delays on several local bus routes and build in extra time for travel. Patience is appreciated.
The following services have been restored:
- Local Bus (some north/south routes will be abbreviated to avoid high water areas)
- METRORail service is resuming on the Red, Green and Purple lines
- Park & Ride service to downtown and the TMC
- METRORapid Silver Line
- HOV/HOT lanes (This includes managed lanes on the following corridors: IH-45 S, IH-45 N, US-59 N, US-59 S & US 290.) The IH-45N HOV/HOT lane is blocked downtown at Milam and Smith streets due to high water. Traffic will be detoured at Quitman exit.

METROLift service will be available. Due to uncertain road conditions, it is still possible METROLift will not be able to reach certain areas to pick up patrons. Expect some delays as drivers exercise extreme caution. Customers should call 713-225-6716 to schedule trips. Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Riders are asked to monitor METRO's Twitter and Facebook pages for timely information regarding transit service. METRO also offers real-time information through its service alerts system.

• Current roadway conditions are available on TranStar’s Real-Time Traffic Map. • These entities are sharing resources with METRO to serve the area: Harris County, the city of Houston and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Their websites provide information about safety, weather, traffic and more during emergencies.
