Veterans and Active Military Ride Free on Veterans Day

METRO is waiving fares for all veterans and active military service personnel in honor of Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.  The free-ride offers include METRORail, local bus, Park & Ride and METROLift services.

For our customers' convenience, METRO bus route 108 Veterans Memorial Express now stops in front of the Houston National Cemetery.  

METRO also offers disabled or decorated veterans unlimited rides when they register for a Qualified METRO Veterans Pass (MVP) card.  Veterans wanting to apply can learn more here: METRO Veterans Pass
