METRORail Work Prompts Bus Shuttles

METRO will make improvements along all three light rail lines which will impact evening travel this weekend. The scheduled work is necessary to ensure METRO can continue to provide reliable light rail service to customers.

On Friday, Aug. 11, work on the Red Line will begin at 10 p.m. Regular rail service will resume at the start of service on Monday, Aug. 14.

On Aug. 11 work on Green and Purple lines will begin at 8 p.m. Regular rail service will resume at the start of service on Monday, Aug. 14.

During these dates, free bus shuttles will transport passengers between the closed segments of all three lines:

Signs at closed rail platforms will guide riders to nearby shuttle stops. Shuttles will run every 12 minutes to provide uninterrupted service for customers. METRO staff will also be on hand to assist riders. Please allow for extra time to complete trips. A bus shuttle map is found below.
