METRORail Improvements Prompt Bus Shuttle on Red Line Beginning Friday

METRO will make track improvements along the Red Light Rail Line beginning Friday which will impact rail service. The scheduled work is necessary to ensure METRO continues to provide reliable light-rail service to customers.

On Friday, July 14, work will begin at 10 p.m. and regular rail service will resume at the start of service on Monday, July 17. During these days, free bus shuttles will transport passengers between the closed segments of the Red Line from Fannin South to TMC Transit Center stations.

Signs at closed rail platforms will guide riders to nearby shuttle stops. METRO staff will also be on hand to assist riders. Please allow for extra time to complete trips. A bus shuttle map is found below.
