If you or someone you know is in need of a place to cool off from the hot tempratures, the City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department has added a fourth location.

- Haynes Recreation Center, 2102 Clark's Crossing Dr.
- Barbara Fasken Recreation Center, 15201 Cerralvo Dr.
- Ladrillera Recreation Center, 2100 Pinder Ave.

The City of Laredo and Laredo Animal Care Service want to remind the community to keep your pets indoors due to the excessive heat.

As the City of Laredo prepares to enter Stage 2 on the Drought Contingency Plan, the Utilities Department asks the community to adjust the irrigation schedules effective immediately.
- Irrigation is PROHIBITED on Sundays.
- Water only between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM
- If address ends with EVEN number, only water on Mon/Wed/Fri.
- If address ends with ODD number, only water on Tue/Thu/Sat.
