DWC is offering FREE OSHA 10-Hour Construction classes across Texas —available in both English and Spanish. These two-day, in-person courses are led by authorized instructors and provide interactive, practical guidance on OSHA standards and essential construction safety.
Who can enroll:
- Must be a Texas resident or employed in Texas.
- Must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
- Must present a photo ID at check-in (TSA-accepted documentation).

Workplace injuries and illnesses threaten both employees and business success, but prevention is easier with the right support. DWC offers resources to help employers strengthen safety programs, reduce workers’ compensation claims, and protect workers.
DWC safety professionals provide affordable, customized training delivered at your worksite in English or Spanish. Sessions are designed to match your operations, and trainers can visit your facility ahead of time to build course materials around your specific needs. Most fees cover only travel expenses, making these sessions an effective, low-cost way to improve safety and compliance.
Employers can also use the free and confidential Occupational Safety and Health Consultation (OSHCON) Program. OSHCON consultants are workplace safety and health experts who help identify hazards, explain OSHA requirements, and work with your team to improve practices — without citations or penalties.
