Updated submission deadlines for balance billing mediation

Effective June 20, 2025, SB 2544 updates the submission deadlines for balance billing disputes involving facilities. 

For services provided before June 20, 2025, facilities have until October 20 to submit mediation requests.

For services provided on or after June 20, 2025, facilities must submit requests within 180 days of the initial payment.
