Nearly 22 million U.S. workers are exposed to dangerous levels of noise at work each year. Fortunately, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is preventable. These tips can help you learn about the hazards of workplace noise and how to protect your hearing health.
 Winter weather safety for workers
Here is a list of resources for working safely in winter weather:
 Low-cost OSHA 30-hour construction classes
DWC offers both in-person training and online video training. Those who complete the course receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction course completion card within eight weeks.
- You must be a Texas resident or an employee currently working in Texas to register.
- To attend, you must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
- Online classes are Central Time Zone and both weeks are required.
