OSHA invites employers to participate in the 2023 National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction scheduled May 1-5. These tips can help you engage with your employees about fall prevention safety during the event.

Construction Safety Week, May 1-5, 2023 

The Associated General Contractors of America promotes construction safety the first week of May. 

Find resources such as toolbox talk materials, daily topic videos, PowerPoint templates, job site banners, social media toolkits, and more. Many of the resources are also available in Spanish.

Low-Cost 30-Hour OSHA Construction Classes 

DWC offers both in-person training and online video training. Those who complete the course receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction course completion card within eight weeks. 

  • You must be a Texas resident or an employee currently working in Texas to register.
  • To attend, you must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
  • Online classes are Central time zone.
