Starting Monday, September 19, 2022, doctors and their administrators must use TXCOMP to:
- accept and manage designated doctor appointments, and
- file required reports online.
DWC will contact designated doctors and their administrators soon about Zoom training sessions.
New designated doctor features include:
- email notice about appointments on the doctor’s profile;
- the ability to accept or decline appointment offers; and
- the ability to manage accepted appointments online by:
- accessing DWC exam orders and the corresponding DWC Form-032, Request for Designated Doctor Examination;
- updating appointment dates, times, and locations;
- requesting help with medical records;
- requesting more time to file reports; and
- entering basic data to upload required reports.
Required medical exam (RME) doctors will see pending RME appointments on their TXCOMP profile and enter basic information to upload required reports.
