New TXCOMP Appointment Features for Designated Doctors and Required Medical Examination Doctors

Starting Monday, September 19, 2022, doctors and their administrators must use TXCOMP to:

  • accept and manage designated doctor appointments, and
  • file required reports online.

DWC will contact designated doctors and their administrators soon about Zoom training sessions.

New designated doctor features include:

  • email notice about appointments on the doctor’s profile;
  • the ability to accept or decline appointment offers; and
  • the ability to manage accepted appointments online by:
    • accessing DWC exam orders and the corresponding DWC Form-032, Request for Designated Doctor Examination;
    • updating appointment dates, times, and locations;
    • requesting help with medical records;
    • requesting more time to file reports; and
    • entering basic data to upload required reports.

Required medical exam (RME) doctors will see pending RME appointments on their TXCOMP profile and enter basic information to upload required reports.

More details to come soon.
