Brake Safety Week, August 21-27, 2022
Commercial motor vehicle inspectors in the United States, Canada, and Mexico conducting the usual North American Standard Level I and V Inspections will also report brake safety data to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA).
The CVSA offers the following resources to help commercial vehicle owners and drivers:
Low-Cost OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Class
This class covers OSHA general industry standards and requirements and safety awareness to help employees find and reduce job site hazards.
- In-person training and online video training.
- You must be a Texas resident or an employee currently working in Texas to register.
- The student must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
- Participants receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card within eight weeks after course completion.
