Machine Guarding and Amputation Prevention

Each year, thousands of workers lose fingers, hands, feet, and other body parts while operating dangerous machinery. Amputations most often occur when equipment – such as a power press, conveyor, band saw, food slicer, or milling machine – is left unguarded or inadequately safeguarded. These tips can help prevent these injuries and keep employees from getting caught in the moving parts of unguarded machinery.

Low-Cost 30-Hour OSHA Construction Classes

Low-Cost 30-Hour OSHA Construction Classes

DWC offers both in-person training and online video training. Those who complete the course receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction course completion card within eight weeks.

  • You must be a Texas resident or an employee currently working in Texas to register.
  • To attend, the student must understand and communicate in the language of the course.
  • Online classes are Central time zone.
