The three items listed below are required to legally operate an amusement ride in Texas. Operating a ride without meeting these requirements could subject you to enforcement action and referral to the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
1. Inspection certificate(s)
2. Insurance policy
- Submit your general liability insurance policy with the AR-100 or to the same address listed below under “Filing fee.”
- Include a schedule / list of all amusement rides that the policy insures, noting each ride name and serial number.
3. Filing fee
- Submit a $40 filing fee for each amusement ride with that ride’s inspection certificate.

Are you no longer operating or no longer own rides? Contact us so we can complete the steps necessary to remove you from the program.
