TDI issues orders with maintenance tax and assessment rates

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) issued maintenance tax and examination assessment rates. The orders set the rates for:

  • Maintenance taxes and fees insurers pay on premiums.
  • Assessments to cover the expenses to examine domestic and foreign insurance companies and self-insurance groups providing workers' compensation insurance.
