TDI proposes health care utilization review changes

The Texas Department of Insurance is proposing rule changes for utilization reviews for health care provided under a health benefit plan or health insurance policy. The proposal reflects changes approved by the 2019 Legislature, including providing easier access to certain prescribed drugs for patients with advanced cancer.
