Hurricane and Flood Disaster Recovery
Natural disasters, like hurricanes and floods, create risks for employees who cleanup worksites. This year, because the 2020 hurricane season comes during the COVID-19 pandemic, extra care is needed. Here are some tips to help you and your workers stay safe after a hurricane or flood.
Free Online OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class
The OSHA 10-Hour class offers live instruction and interactive class participation through Zoom. Instruction covers the basics of construction safety, industry-specific OSHA standards and requirements, and safety awareness to help employees recognize and reduce job site hazards. Participants receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction card within eight weeks after course completion.
