TDI issues balance billing data call

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) has issued a bulletin requesting that health benefit plan issuers report data related to balance billing. Insurance Code Section 38.004 requires that TDI collect this data on a quarterly basis. The data call covers all of 2019 and the first two quarters of 2020.
