Story Laboratory: Thinking Money for Kids!

Can you get a small farm up and running with limited resources? Participating kids will work together to run a small farm and learn about budgeting and planning!

Thinking Money for Kids is an initiative of the American Library Association and the FINRA Investor Education Foundation.

Poké Club

Calling all Pokémon fans in grades 3-5!  Enjoy snacks and trade cards, express your creativity through a Pokémon-related craft, and celebrate all things Pokémon with other fans.

Late Night at the Library: Love is Murder!

Friday, February 14, 6:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.

Does Valentine's Day have you seeing red? Join us for our after-hours horror movie screening of the 2024 film that chilled audiences. Beware the friends you make on vacation, it can turn from love to murder in a heartbeat.

Rated R - This program is intended for patrons 18+.

Teen Movie Night

Thursday, February 20, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Kick back, relax, and join us at the library for a movie night! Come to the Teen Zone prepared to laugh, eat popcorn, and just have fun! After the movie we will take suggestions for future movies for Teen Movie Nights.

Crazy Cat People Party

Thursday, February 27, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Are you a total cat purr-son? Then press paws and live in the meow with your fellow Crazy Cat People! We’ll make pretty kitty crafts for you AND your best fur-end, and play cat trivia for a chance to win purr-fect prizes! We’ll also have a meet and greet with some of the Hurst Animal Services and Adoption Center’s most adoptable cats, so please leave your fur babies at home! Mark your calendar! Fur-getting it would be CAT-astrophic!

Sensory Station

Friday, February 28, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

All aboard to Sensory Station! Bring your little ones and explore the senses at different stations. This program is intended for children ages 1 to 3.
