City offices: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm.
Library: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Recreation Center: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tennis Center: Closes at 1:00 p.m. (not reopening from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)
Parks Department: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Senior Center: Staff working 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (virtual programming only)

All non-emergency city facilities will be closed in observance of the New Year holiday.
Emergency services are unaffected by this holiday closure.
Trash and Recycling:
Service normally provided on Monday through Thursday will be on regular schedule, Friday will shift to Saturday.

Hurst City Council Meeting
The next Hurst City Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 12 at 6:30 PM. Meeting agendas are available by 4:00 PM the Friday before the scheduled meeting at hursttx.gov/agendas.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

Bring your household hazardous waste to the Service Center along with an ID and Hurst water bill.
Accepted items: Automotive fluids (10 gallon limit), batteries, cleaners & degreasers, cooking oil, lawn / garden / pool chemicals, light bulbs, paint (limited to three five-gallon containers).
Not Accepted: Ammunition or explosives, appliances or electronics, building materials, bulk trash and yard waste, butane or propane cylinders, medicines or sharps, tires.
Document shredding will be available. Three (3) box limit, no larger than 15" x 12" x 10" accepted. Limited space. First come, first served.
