CTS is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM, or until we clear the shelter! All adoption fees are waived during this event.

Hurst Police Department Safe Exchange Zone
 To assist our citizens with online exchanges and child custody arrangements, the Hurst Police Department has developed two parking spots, “Exchange Zones,” that are well-lit and are under 24-hour surveillance.

Citizens Police Academy
Hurst Police Department is accepting applications for the next Citizen's Police Academy until August 3! This is a fantastic program that gives residents the opportunity to learn all about the Hurst Police Department and how it operates. Held at the Hurst Justice Center, the class will meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m. For more information and to download an application, visit hursttx.gov/CPA.

Mosquito Spraying
 Fight the Bite!
The City has received notification of a positive West Nile Virus sample result from the mosquito trap set in the 400 block of Chisholm Trail on 07/20/2017. In response, we will be spraying for mosquitoes within a one-quarter (1/4) mile radius of the positive result site beginning at 8:30 PM Friday, July 28.
