SHARS FFY 2025 Cost Report Corrections Period
The federal fiscal year (FFY) 2025 School Health and Related Services Program (SHARS) cost report corrections period opened on June 2, 2026. Per 1 Texas Administrative Code Section 355.105, Local Education Agencies (LEAs) wishing to correct information submitted in the cost report are allowed a correction period of 60 days from the cost report due date (June 1, 2026). The FFY 2025 corrections period closes on July 31, 2026.
Corrections Requests
You can request a correction to your LEA’s SHARS cost report through a State of Texas Electronic Provider System (STEPS) ticket. If you cannot submit a ticket in STEPS, you can request corrections by email. Details are outlined below.
By STEPS Ticket:
- Submit a ticket in STEPS to request corrections to the FFY25 cost report.
- Section four of the STEPS General System Guide (.pdf) contains instructions for submitting a STEPS ticket.
- Include the Business License Application (BLA) number, a brief description of the issue, and the correction.
By Email:
- Email the LEA-initiated correction request to the HHSC SHARS staff.
- Include the BLA number, a brief description of the issue, and the correction.
