GL 21-1000-A Emergency Rule for Hospitals Participating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Acute Hospital Care at Home Program During the COVID-19 Pandemic Amended

GL 21-1000-A regarding the extension of emergency rules related to Participating in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Acute Hospital Care at Home Program During the COVID-19 Pandemic has been posted. Effective June 8, 2021, the emergency rule is extended for 60 days and permits a currently licensed hospital to apply to HHSC to temporarily participate in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) hospitals at home program to expand hospital capacity in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
