Stakeholder Survey Seeks Input on Improving Early Childhood Education for Children with Disabilities

The Texas Education Agency, Texas Health and Human Services Commission, and Texas Workforce Commission are seeking stakeholder input for the strategic plan for improving early childhood education for children with disabilities, which is required by House Bill (H.B.) 2310, 89th Legislature, Regular Session, 2025. The agencies want to ensure the strategic plan reflects the needs and experiences of families, educators, and service providers.

To ensure broad input for the strategic plan, the Texas Education Agency, with assistance from The University of Texas at Austin, has released a voluntary and anonymous stakeholder survey for families, educators, and service providers across early childhood and early education fields.

Please use this survey to share your insights and recommendations. Your voice matters, and your input will help ensure that Texas has a coordinated, effective system that meets the needs of children, families, early childhood and special educators, and service providers. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

The survey will close on May 3, 2026.
