Recognizing Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in Texas

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to recognize Texans with developmental disabilities and highlight services and supports that promote independence, employment, and community participation.

Developmental disabilities are lifelong conditions that begin in childhood and may affect learning, mobility, communication, or behavior.
