Intellectual and Developmental Disability Training for Peace Officers
The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) shares information about an exciting new course: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Training for Peace Officers (course #4204) is designed to assist peace officers in identifying and engaging with individuals who live with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). The course is currently in public comment until December 18, 2024.
