On the Road Again With the TFC

Stray Vista Volume Wall

The TFC has been busy traveling far and wide since last you heard from us! Here are just a few of the places our staffers have made their way to recently:

  • Gabriel Ornelas travelled north to the City of Saint Jo to present their Film Friendly Community certificate in-person.
  • Matt Miller and Robert Rodriguez spent several days hosting a booth at the Denton Black Film Festival Tech Expo.
  • Matt, Robert and Gabriel toured the largest virtual production studio in Texas at Stray Vista Studios in Dripping Springs. The photo above shows off the 80'x16' Virtual Production Volume Wall that filmmakers can use right now.
  • Stephanie Whallon attended Visit Fort Worth's 2023 Annual Meeting: Collective Effervescence, where she met with local filmmakers and creatives.

Make sure to keep your eyes on our TFC social media we continue to highlight our trips across the Lone Star State!

Remember, you can always learn more about the day to day activities at the Capitol by visiting Texas Legislature Online
