Certificate of Deafness for Tuition Waiver Program

Did you know that students who are deaf or hard of hearing and meet certain criteria can apply to have their tuition waived at state-supported, post-secondary schools in Texas?

One of the programs under the Texas HHS Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) is the Certification of Deafness Tuition Waiver (CODTW) program. Learn more about the program in an upcoming webinar and how it can benefit you! (Click here for a description in ASL!)

Olivia Rains, a Communication Access Specialist with DHHS, will be presenting with Melissa Bell, Outreach Development Specialist at DHHS.

This webinar is intended for professionals who work with current and prospective students who are deaf or hard of hearing, high school and college students who are deaf or hard of hearing, continuing education adults who are deaf or hard of hearing, and parents of deaf and hard of hearing students.

*Certificates of Attendance will also be awarded for other continuing education documentation, such as for the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
