Survey: Independent Living Services Program Seeks Input to Assist Texans with Disabilities

The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), Independent Living Services (ILS) program is seeking your input on the independent living services available to Texans with significant disabilities. Your thoughts and experiences regarding the ILS program, the Centers for Independent Living contracted to carry out the ILS program, and the work of the State Independent Living Council are vital.

Your input will inform and assist HHSC to understand the effectiveness of ILS program service delivery and ways to strengthen the program. The information will be used by HHSC as part of a study of the ILS program, as directed in the 2022-23 General Appropriations Act, Senate Bill 1, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021 (Article II-72, Rider 83).

PRC Custom Research is conducting this survey on behalf of the HHSC ILS program. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete, and all feedback is confidential. They hope you will complete this online survey and help improve the ILS program.

The survey closes June 3.
