On May 31, 2021 the regular 87th Legislative Session was adjourned. In a year with unprecedented challenges, our industries were resilient and demonstrated the importance of economic recovery: Governor Abbott signed the state budget into law, officially designating $45 million for the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program (TMIIIP). As we look beyond session we are excited to stay engaged with our industry stakeholders and media professionals. The TFC will to continue to provide unparalleled customer service as we grow our existing programs and work to create new resources and partnerships.
