State Launches Call Center to Assist Texans Without Internet to Submit Disaster Damage Information

The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) and the Texas Military Department announced the launch of a call center to assist Texans with limited or no internet access with completing the State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT). The call center is specifically for Texans who are unable to submit information through the online iSTAT tool. The information gathered by iSTAT is crucial in helping the state advocate for the support and assistance needed to help communities recover from the winter storm.

How to Contact the Call Center

Texans can call 844-844-3089 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM seven days a week. Callers will walk step-by-step through the iSTAT form. Completing the form helps the state identify damages across Texas and help emergency management officials understand what happened during the recent severe winter weather event. The data will be provided to FEMA in order to help identify areas in need of federal disaster assistance. If needed, a state emergency management professional may visit impacted homes to collect photos and documentation of damage.
