It's time for Texas artists, groups, and nonprofits to apply to be listed on the 2020-2022 Texas Touring Roster. The Texas Touring Roster is a listing of Texas-based artists and companies that tour the state to provide quality arts experiences. Touring artists offer performances as well as optional services that may include workshops, master classes, lecture-demonstrations, arts education components, residencies, or short performances.

Combine both desires by purchasing the Texas Music Office's TEXAS MUSIC license plate for cars and/or motorcycles & scooters. Or purchase one as a gift to yourself! $22 of the $30 fee goes toward grants to Texas nonprofits to purchase music instruments & lessons for under-resourced Texas school children, as well as toward community music events.
 Live Music Fund Community Forum
The Austin Music & Entertainment Division (the Austin liaison for the TMO's Music Friendly Community program) invites Austin-area music industry constituents to share ideas for how the newly formed Live Music Fund can support Austin’s musicians and live music industry. Learn how you can stay involved as grant guidelines are formalized in the coming pilot year. RSVP is encouraged, but not required.
 Texas Artists Performing at SXSW 2020
Texas Music Office fellowship interns Catalina Cruz and Erin Cornett have curated a playlist of Texas artists performing at SXSW in March 2020. Latin soul, pop, country, jazz, gospel, rock, EDM...these Texas artists at the top of their game play it all! As more artists are announced in the coming months, we'll continue to add and update the playlist so you're properly prepared to navigate the thousands of showcases happening at what's become one of the largest music conferences in the world.
