Honoring Veterans at AVA Fest
On Oct. 26, we conducted a conversation at the 2019 Austin Veteran Arts Festival with Texas veteran & screenwriter, Matt Cook, who detailed how his experiences in military service informed his art. The following day, we presented a panel with the team behind the Nat Geo miniseries The Long Road Home, where showrunner Mikko Alanne talked about making the Texas project: "One of the gifts this show gave me is the relationships with the families."
