TMO Brings Texas Music Showcase to Key West Songwriters Fest
On May 13, the Texas Music Office + Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Association (TxHSA) co-sponsored the Texas Music Showcase at Key West Songwriters Festival featuring Jack Ingram, Wade Bowen, Jamie Lin Wilson, Kelley Mickwee, and many more. TxHSA also announced its 2020 Hall of Fame inductees (Jerry Jeff Walker, Jim Collins, Larry Henley, Susanna Clark, and T-Bone Walker) during showcase.

On Saturday, June 1, a new Texas Historical Commission marker honoring Tejano star Lydia Mendoza (1916-2007) was unveiled at Mendoza’s San Fernando Cemetery No. 2 gravesite in San Antonio.
