During this year's SXSW conference, music business professionals from around the world descended upon the capital city, and the Texas Music Office was at the center of multiple activations, co-sponsored stages, and events...including Governor Greg Abbott's press conference announcing that Broadcast Music, Inc. new Texas office is officially open.
 Lubbock Music NOW applications open thru April 30, 2019
Civic Lubbock, Inc has opened up applications for their local music project, Lubbock Music NOW from April 1 to April 30, 2019. The non-profit organization is asking artists and bands within a 100-mile radius of Lubbock who have played gigs in Lubbock over the past year to submit their applications for a place on the 2019 album.
