Texas Women's Hall of Fame Accepting Nominations
The Texas Governor’s Commission for Women is now accepting nominations for the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame. Nominations are open to any native or current residents of Texas, living or deceased, who have made significant contributions to the State of Texas. Previous musician inductees include Selena Quintanilla and Lydia Mendoza.

San Antonio & Denton Receive MFC Certification
The City of San Antonio and the City of Denton both received the Texas Music Office's "Music Friendly Communities" certification in February.
St. David's Children's Hospital - Volunteer Music Program
St. David’s Children’s Hospital is looking for a few more musician volunteers to participate in their program, in partnership with MyMusicRx. The new program brings the joy of music to children
in hospital settings as a method of therapy and to distract children from their
current circumstances.
