The Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) Fall Enrollment period for Medicare-eligible retirees in the Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) is Oct. 28 through Nov. 15. It is the only time of the year you can enroll in coverage for yourself and/or your eligible dependents without a qualifying life event (QLE). How to change your benefits
Online
Change your benefits now by visiting your ERS OnLine account at ers.texas.gov. (Survivors cannot make changes online.)
Mail
You can mail a completed Retiree Fall Enrollment Form, found on page 17, in the Fall Enrollment Guide to the address at the top right of the form.
Email
You can also scan and email a completed form to ERScustomer.service@ers.texas.gov.

No changes? No problem.
If you are keeping the same coverage, you don’t have to do anything and your current coverage will carry over into the new plan year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31).
