perhaps attended a Summer Enrollment fair. You went online and updated your
benefit elections. The new plan year is right around the corner. Now what? Follow this link to find out.

 Keep your health and drug plan ID cards—unless you made changes.
It’s a new plan year, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you will get new
health or drug plan ID cards. If you’ve changed health plans or made other
changes, you will receive new cards. Otherwise, the cards you have now will do

HMOs:
Drug deductible starts over September 1
Enrolled
in an HMO? Remember that your drug deductible resets on September 1. This means you and your covered dependents
must pay separate deductibles before the plan begins to cover drug costs. Learn more>>

of us have started the back-to-school countdown. Classroom supplies? Check. New

Workplace wellness is not a new concept. ERS has long recognized that wellness programs can help people get healthier, which improves their quality of life. What is new? In June 2018, ERS added a team member who will coordinate wellness efforts across Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) health plans. The goal now is to get the word out: wellness and prevention are important—to our physical and emotional health and to the GBP’s bottom line. Read more>>
