WEEKEND CLOSURE
9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 through noon Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025
 WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project, TxDOT will require closures for pavement construction:
- Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) mainlanes between the Hausman Road exit ramp and the Kyle Seale Parkway entrance ramp.
This weekend closure is expected from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 through noon Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, weather permitting. Law enforcement will direct traffic through intersections during this time, as needed. Please follow detour signage.
DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB Mainlanes
Travelers on the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes will exit via the Hausman Road exit ramp and follow the Loop 1604 EB frontage road through the Hausman Road and Kyle Seale Parkway intersections. They may re-enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp.

- Loop 1604 eastbound (EB) frontage road at the I-10 interchange
- Loop 1604 westbound (WB) mainlanes and connected cloverleaf
- I-10 EB right two mainlanes and connected cloverleaf
- I-10 EB frontage road north and south of the Loop 1604 interchange
These weekend nightly closures are expected from 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 to 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 and 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025 to 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, weather permitting. DETOUR INFORMATION
Loop 1604 EB Frontage Road
Travelers on the Loop 1604 EB frontage road looking to continue through the I-10 interchange will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes before the I-10 interchange and follow it to the NW Military Highway exit ramp, re-entering the Loop 1604 EB frontage road.
Loop 1604 WB Mainlanes and to I-10 EB
Travelers on the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes will exit to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road via the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp. Those looking to continue through the I-10 interchange will follow the Loop 1604 WB frontage road through the I-10 interchange, re-entering the mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp. Those looking to access I-10 EB will keep right to enter the I-10 WB frontage road and use the turnaround at La Cantera Parkway to enter the I-10 EB frontage road. They will enter the I-10 EB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp. Travelers may exit via Exit 557 to enter the I-10 EB frontage road.
I-10 EB to Loop 1604 EB
Travelers on the I-10 EB mainlanes looking to access Loop 1604 EB will follow the ramp to enter Loop 1604 WB, entering the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. They will use the turnaround at La Cantera Parkway to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. They will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp.
I-10 EB Frontage Road to Loop 1604 WB Frontage Road
Travelers on the I-10 EB frontage road looking to access the Loop 1604 WB frontage road will turn right onto Via La Cantera and follow it to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road.
WEEKEND DAYTIME CLOSURES
6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025

I-10 EB Frontage Road
Travelers on the I-10 EB mainlanes looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will keep right to enter the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. They will use the turnaround at La Cantera Parkway to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. They will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and follow signs to I-10 EB. Travelers may exit via Exit 557 to enter the I-10 EB frontage road.
SATURDAY NIGHT CLOSURES

Loop 1604 WB Frontage Road
Travelers on the Loop 1604 WB frontage road looking to continue through the I-10 interchange will enter the Loop 1604 WB mainlanes before the I-10 interchange and follow it through the I-10 interchange, keeping to the right to exit to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road. Those near Vance Jackson Road will use the Vance Jackson Road intersection to access the Loop 1604 EB frontage road and use the turnaround at Lockhill Selma Road to follow the Loop 1604 WB detour.
Loop 1604 WB to I-10 EB and WB
Travelers on Loop 1604 WB looking to access I-10 EB or WB will follow the Loop 1604 WB detour to the west side of the I-10 interchange. Travelers will then use the La Cantera Parkway turnaround to enter the Loop 1604 EB frontage road. Those looking to access I-10 EB will enter the Loop 1604 EB mainlanes and keep right to access I-10 EB. Those looking to access I-10 WB will remain on the Loop 1604 EB frontage road through the I-10 interchange. They will turn left onto the I-10 WB frontage road. They may enter the I-10 WB mainlanes via the first available entrance ramp.
I-10 EB Frontage Road
Travelers on the I-10 EB frontage road looking to continue through the Loop 1604 interchange will enter the I-10 EB mainlanes just after La Cantera Parkway and follow the I-10 EB mainlanes through the Loop 1604 interchange. Travelers may exit via Exit 557 to re-enter the I-10 EB frontage road.
I-10 EB Frontage Road to Loop 1604 WB Frontage Road
Travelers on the I-10 EB frontage road looking to access the Loop 1604 WB frontage road will turn right onto Via La Cantera and follow it to the Loop 1604 WB frontage road.
